Big Slab features imported and domestic hardwoods. The domestic hardwoods include different colors of walnut, with the more open-grained walnut being the darkest. I think the warmest, reddish wood is red oak. The light yellow, arching, pieces are maple. The Texas mesquite piece is surrounded by red oak, darker walnut, and maple. The Chrissy element is a combination of distressed canary wood, and walnut, set between red oak, oak, and the big piece of walnut with light and dark grain.
