Currently, as of May 7th, There’s 1 board left for sale of this first batch.I’m in production on the second batchof boards. I’ll post their pictures, and text descriptions as I finish them. If you fill out the contact information, I will let you know when the boards post, as in right after they post. The only board that is availble for sale is Little Chopper.
Making boards has its own pace, which includes prepping the lumber, designing the piece, assembling the design (arranging and gluing pieces together), and the final finishing, sanding, and oiling.
These steps take the time they take.
The Chrissy Series
Chrissy is my friend and an early supporter. I named the series after her, to honor all of that.

About Me
My name is Lucy Pamela Bloedoorn. My sole proprietorship is Baubords.
In 2017, I made myself a cutting board for one of those homemade bread-slicing frames, with a grate on the bottom, and plastic sides with slots in them. Then I made a few more end grain boards. Along the way, a friend of mine asked if I had a business card. I didn’t, but it eventually came to me to make cutting boards to sell and get my garage set up as a wood shop. Baubords are custom, one-of-a-kind, cutting boards, varying the combinations of wood used in each design.
All of the woods I make boards from are hardwoods, both domestic and imported. Unless they are labeled, or easily identified, positive, specific, identification, can be a guess. Most of my wood has been donated. My sister Tammy had construction worker connections, who gave her scrap lumber for me. A couple of my high school classmates gave me wood. One of the guys lives in Texas and gave me some mesquite. Some of the boards have mesquite in them. The dimensions of the boards vary, depending on the designs, and what stock I have on hand. Sometimes, I’ll create a series of boards that all share an element. My first series, the Chrissy series, all have end grain elements, cathedral arches, triangle arches, etc.
A portion of my profits will be donated to Save Our Sons, a local non-profit that reduces the number of African American youth in the juvenile justice system.
